Welcome to the Chalkstone Karate Club Haverhill website.
We invite you to learn Shotokan Karate and self-defence with experienced instructors in a small friendly club established over 25 years.
Karate is excellent for general fitness, improving your concentration, memory and discipline. It is also fun and gives you a great sense of achievement as your skills develop.
Chalkstone karate club is committed to the safety and welfare of children and is a fully accredited member of SAFEchild. (see SAFEchild page for more information) and Suffolk Childrens University (SCU). All instructors are fully CRB vetted, child protection and first aid trained.
Chalkstone Karate Club is affiliated to the Toyakwai Karate Association (TKA) which is governed by the English Karate Federation (EKF) and World Karate Federation (WKF)
The Toyakwai Karate Association was founded in London in 1973, and is currently managed by Joe Anderson who is a 7th Dan black belt.
